Here at Rogers First our mission is to connect people to a vibrant life in Jesus Christ. One way we do that is through missions.

The Missions Council here at Rogers First is a local council of the Nazarene Missions International (NMI). The purpose of the local NMI Council is to mobilize the Church of the Nazarene in missions through praying, giving, education, and engagement.

Throughout the year the Missions Council promotes different ways that the church can be involved in missions. We do this through giving to Faith Promise, to support local and international missions, networking with missional partnerships, and actively involving ourselves in hands-on missions through Mission NWA and Work and Witness trips.

It’s time for Mission NWA!

We are so excited to meet together to help our church family, our missional partners and make a special connection with our community.

On Saturday, June 21 we will meet at the church at 8:00 am and divide into teams; Teams 1 & 2 will visit local parks to connect with families in our community. Team 3 will visit Nueva Vida, our Spanish church, for a Campus Serve Day. We look forward to serving others and connecting people to a vibrant life in Jesus Christ!

It will be a fantastic morning serving the Lord and His people so please join us!

Faith Promise 2025 was a wonderful weekend as we learned what it means to share the Best News Ever, which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Dr. Carla Sunberg was our guest speaker.

We prayed for our local church, community and city, nation and world on Friday night. We had 73 men attend our Men’s Breakfast, and 56 women attend our Women’s Afternoon Tea on Saturday. We celebrated our Faith Promise and enjoyed a meal catered by Nueva Vida on Sunday.
